Robby Pearson has been named player of the year. "Robby was the best player in our region as voted by the coaches and he backed that up by his performance in the state tournament leading us to the state title. His leadership both on and off the field were the guiding force to our championship. His performance in the semi-final game against a very good Greenway team will go down in Arizona High School baseball history as one of the best ever, striking out the last six batters of the game to get us into the finals."
