The visiting Compton Tarbabes got a rude welcome by the fleet footed and power hitting Apaches of Centennial by getting bombed 10-0 in a non-conference contest. The Apaches put up a 10 spot in the bottom of the first inning and coasted to an easy victory as Compton could only manage 3 hits in the 5 inning game as the 'mercy' rule was in effect.
