Steven Rivera

Steven Rivera has been named player of the year. "Phrases like "once in a decade" athlete are often overblown. With the senior quarterback, a four-year starter behind center for the Knights, it might be an understatement. Rivera's senior year was one of the best statistical seasons in San Gabriel Valley history: 3408 passing yards with 38 TDs and only 5 interceptions. He also added over 400 rushing yards and 9 rushing TDs. And that was just on offense--on defense, Rivera logged over 130 tackles, six forced fumbles, and five interceptions. He finishes his Arroyo career with over 8500 passing yards and 94 passing TDs, both all-time Top 10 CIF performances."
