Florida High School Basketball - Mount Dora knocked off by Eustis
The Eustis Panthers basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Mount Dora Hurricanes to 61 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Strawberry Crest for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Eustis will meet a Chargers team coming off a 90-70 league win over East Bay (Gibsonton, FL). The Chargers record now stands at 3-4.
The Hurricanes (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Umatilla (Umatilla, FL). The Bulldogs enter the 5A District 5 contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Umatilla was defeated by South Sumter (Bushnell, FL), 75-25, in a league contest.
