Alvin Delaine

Alvin Delaine has been named player of the year. "Alvin has enjoyed his most impressive and productive year at Hernando High School. He rushed for 1659 yards, 24 TDs and had 268 receiving yards, 4 TDs 1927 overall. He broke Hernando's single game rushing record for 326 yards a record wich stood for 15 years. Alvin has ended up in Florida's 3A and Overall Top 5 in rushing and scoring. He's dedication and volunteer work with Hernando youth League has made him more humble in regards to how someone with his status can be a positive role model to the future athletes in the community. Alvin has proved that his hard work in the off season has help elevate his game to a level that will make his senior year very special."
