    Tori Perkins has been named player of the year. "Perkins, who was honored with the 2015 Florida Class 7A player of the year, led Tate to a Florida Class 7A Championship , with a record of 27-4. From the circle, besides having 9 shutouts, she was 19-3 with a 1.05 ERA and 216 strikeouts in 154 innings. From the plate Perkins batted .391 with 38 RBIs--excelling over the final 7 games, that covered the District, Regional and State playoffs--where she had a .708 slugging percentage and 14 RBIs. From the 2015 - 23rd Annual Kissimmee Klassic Softball Tournament, Perkins received the Outstanding Defensive player for the Blue Division. She has signed with the University of Alabama Birmingham."
