Meet Brandon Jeong

Brandon Jeong is a junior at PK Yonge and this is his second year in the program. He is a player we all admire and respect, because of his determination and ability to play a sport after a major injury. He started playing soccer in second grade at The Rock School and played for GSA until seventh grade, where he got injured and had to step down from a sport he loves. Brandon tore some tendons in his legs and wasn't able to walk for a while. Many kids his age would have quitted forever, but Brandon decided to give it one more try and put in full display his persistence, grit and determination. Brandon is a model of what an exemplary student athlete is. He is an outstanding student, also engaged in a lot of extracurricular clubs and he is a terrific swimmer and plays tennis. It is incredible and admirable how Brandon manages so many talents and responsibilities. We have all witnessed Brandon's improvement from his sophomore year, where he played 262 minutes, assisting 2 goals and having 15 steals, to his junior
