Dakeen Diaz has been named player of the year. "The 6'2 wing was the leader in Scoring, assists, and field goal percentage as he led the Raiders to Christmas and Region Tournament championship games as well as back into the State Playoffs for the first time since 2013. Diaz garnered Honorable Mention All-State, First Team All Region 1-AAAAA, and 1st Team Columbus Ledger-Enquirer All-Bi-City for his efforts. Diaz also signed to continue his basketball career at Chattahoochee Valley Community College. Super job Dakeen!"
