Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Franklin Regional thwarts Penn-Trafford
January 2, 2024: Harrison City, PA 15636 The Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) basketball knocked off the host Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA), 69-51 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA). The Cavaliers go into the WPIAL 5A 3 test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Kiski Area went down by Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA), 65-59, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Gateway for a WPIAL 5A 3 test on Friday, January 5. Penn-Trafford will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 62-46 league win over McKeesport (McKeesport, PA). The Gators record now stands at 8-1.
