Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penn-Trafford fells McKeesport
February 2, 2024: Harrison City, PA 15636 Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA), 57-44 in a league bout.
With the win, Penn-Trafford upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Warriors host Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA) to play the Wildcats in a WPIAL 5A 3 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Greater Latrobe lost 57-49 in their recent league bout against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. McKeesport will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 37-36 league loss to Gateway (Monroeville, PA).
