Pennsylvania High School Basketball - McKeesport nudges Greater Latrobe
January 30, 2024: Latrobe, PA 15650 In Tuesday's league outing, the McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA) basketball squad nipped the host Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA), by a margin of 84-77.
The Tigers (4-10) will now prepare for their outing against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors go into the WPIAL 5A 3 outing with a 10-10 record. In their last outing, Penn-Trafford got by Gateway (Monroeville, PA), 54-52, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Franklin Regional for a WPIAL 5A 3 outing on Friday, February 2. Greater Latrobe will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 61-48 league win over Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 15-2.
