California High School Basketball - Yerington victorious over North Tahoe

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Yerington Lions basketball team scored a good 49-39 triumph over the North Tahoe Lakers.

The Lions (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Mustangs go into the 2A Northern contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Pershing County was topped by Smith Valley (Smith, NV), 64-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Lakers battle the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a 2A Northern contest, on Saturday, January 4. North Tahoe will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 64-59 non-league loss to Smith Valley (Smith, NV).
