The Yerington Lions basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Sierra Lutheran Falcons to 59 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Incline for a 2A Northern game on Friday, December 13. Yerington will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 71-62 non-league win over Wooster (Reno, NV). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Sierra Lutheran falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV) to confront the Nighthawks in a 2A Northern game on Friday, December 13. The Nighthawks go into the game with a record of 0-3. Silver Stage lost 48-37 in their recent league game against Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV)
