South Dakota High School Basketball - Roncalli thwarts Warner
January 2, 2025: Aberdeen, SD 57401 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Roncalli Cavaliers (Aberdeen, SD) and the visiting Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD), observed Roncalli's basketball team knock off Warner by a score of 57-40.
The Cavaliers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Webster (Webster, SD). The Bearcats come into the A Region 1 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Webster prevailed over Ipswich (Ipswich, SD), 49-43, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Monarchs encounter the Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Warner will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 51-9 league win over Redfield (Redfield, SD).
