January 3, 2023: Rapid City, SD 57702 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Stevens Raiders (Rapid City, SD) and the visiting Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), saw Stevens's basketball squad overcome Douglas by a tally of 60-49.
With the victory, Stevens improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD) to confront the Rough Riders in a AA challenge on Friday, January 6. The Rough Riders come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Roosevelt lost 66-51 in their recent league challenge against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD)
Next up, the Patriots confront the More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) in a A Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Douglas will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 63-26 league win over Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD).
