Stevens Raiders (Rapid City, SD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD), 56-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Stevens upgrades its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD) to play the Spartans in a AA bout on Monday, February 20. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 5-11. Spearfish lost 75-68 in their recent league bout against Douglas (Box Elder, SD)

Next up, the Cobblers play the Lincoln Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD) in a AA bout, on Friday, February 24. Rapid City Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 62-60 league loss to Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD).
