South Dakota High School Basketball - Custer over Sturgis Brown
January 3, 2023: Custer, SD 57730 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD) and the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), saw Custer's basketball squad overcome Sturgis Brown by a tally of 60-43.
With the victory, Custer improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD) to confront the Black Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Black Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
Next up, the Scoopers confront the More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Sturgis Brown will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 51-37 league win over Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD).
