Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Belle Fourche Broncs (Belle Fourche, SD) and the host Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD), saw Belle Fourche's basketball squad hold off Custer by a tally of 59-53.

With the victory, Belle Fourche improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Broncs travel to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD) to confront the Comets in a A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Rapid City Christian won 62-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Chadron (Chadron, NE)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Custer will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record.
