Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA) and the host Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA), saw River Ridge's basketball squad knock off Peninsula by a count of 65-50.

With the victory, River Ridge upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Hawks host Capital (Olympia, WA) to play the Cougars in a 3A South Sound challenge on Friday, January 5.
