In Wednesday's league outing, the Keystone Panthers (Knox, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Cranberry Area Berries (Seneca, PA), by a count of 41-36.

The Panthers (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA). The Bulldogs go into the Keystone Shortway outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Redbank Valley held off Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA), 39-36, in a league outing.

The Berries now hold a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Clarion-Limestone for a Keystone Shortway outing on Friday, January 5. Cranberry Area will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 54-33 league loss to Karns City (Karns City, PA). The Lions record now stands at 2-6.
