Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Clarion Area tops Cranberry Area
January 15, 2024: Clarion, PA 16214 Clarion Area Bobcats (Clarion, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cranberry Area Berries (Seneca, PA), 46-27 in a league bout.
With the victory, Clarion Area upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA) to play the Warriors in a Keystone Shortway bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Moniteau won 62-32 in their recent league bout against Union (Rimersburg, PA)
Next up, the Berries play the Clarion-Limestone Lions (Strattanville, PA) in a Keystone Shortway bout, on Monday, January 22. Cranberry Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 46-37 non-league loss to Oil City (Oil City, PA).
