In Thursday's league outing, the Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA) basketball squad felled the host Clarion Area Bobcats (Clarion, PA), by a margin of 49-36.

The Bulldogs (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Johnsonburg (Johnsonburg, PA). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, Johnsonburg was beaten by Ridgway (Ridgway, PA), 56-22, in a league outing.

The Bobcats now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Keystone for a non-league outing on Friday, February 9. Clarion Area will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 54-27 league win over East Forest/West Forest (Tionesta, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-12.
