The Ridgefield Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting New Canaan Rams to 29 in the Tigers league victory on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Staples for a Fairfield County contest on Friday, January 5. Ridgefield will battle a Wreckers team coming off a 63-20 league win over Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Wreckers record now stands at 3-4.

The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Danbury (Danbury, CT). The Hatters come into the Fairfield County contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Danbury dropped by St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT), 58-47, in a league contest.
