New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT), 46-34 in a league bout.

With the win, New Canaan upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Rams host Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT) to play the Falcons in a Fairfield County bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Ludlowe won 51-38 in their recent league bout against Danbury (Danbury, CT)

Next up, the Bears play the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Norwalk will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
