Connecticut High School Basketball - Weston topped by New Canaan
December 16, 2023: Weston, CT 06883 The New Canaan Rams basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Weston Trojans to 32 in the Rams non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rams now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Darien for a Fairfield County contest on Wednesday, December 20. New Canaan will battle a Blue Wave team coming off a 50-43 non-league win over Bassick (Bridgeport, CT). The Blue Wave record now stands at 2-1.
The Trojans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Rebels come into the Southwest - Patriot contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, New Fairfield prevailed over Coventry (Coventry, CT), 46-29, in a non-league contest.
