North Carolina High School Basketball - Carson fells North Rowan

January 3, 2025: China Grove, NC 28023

The Carson Cougars basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers to 45 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Concord for a 3A South Piedmont game on Tuesday, January 7. Carson will confront a Spiders team coming off a 54-53 league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, North Rowan falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host West Davidson (Lexington, NC) to confront the Dragons in a 1A/2A Central Carolina game on Tuesday, January 7. The Dragons go into the game with a record of 1-13. West Davidson lost 85-47 in their recent league game against Lexington (Lexington, NC)
