The Seguin Matadors basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Highlands Owls to 38 in the Matadors league triumph on Friday.

The Matadors now possess a 10-13 record. They play next when they host Burbank for a 5A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, January 7. Seguin will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 73-63 league win over Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-13.

With the loss, Highlands falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Owls host Edison (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Golden Bears in a 5A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, January 7.
