Texas High School Basketball - Klein thwarts Magnolia
January 3, 2025: Magnolia, TX 77353 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Klein Bearkats (Klein, TX) and the host Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX), observed Klein's basketball team knock off Magnolia by a score of 58-39.
The Bearkats (11-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Klein Cain (Houston, TX). The Hurricanes come into the 6A Region II District 15 challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Klein Cain prevailed over Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX), 58-49, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Klein Oak Panthers (Spring, TX) in a 6A Region II District 15 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Magnolia will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 52-49 league loss to Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX).
