January 3, 2025: Saline, LA 71070 Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Saline Bobcats (Saline, LA), 31-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Ouachita Christian advances its record to 15-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to St. Frederick (Monroe, LA) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 11-6. St. Frederick won 43-20 in their recent non-league match against Delhi Charter (Delhi, LA)
The Bobcats now own a 11-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weston for a non-league match on Monday, January 6. Saline will face a Wolves squad coming off a 55-46 non-league win over Calvin (Calvin, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 6-13.
