In Friday's league contest, the visiting Weston Trojans basketball team scored a good 63-55 win over the Pomperaug Panthers.

The Trojans (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wright Tech (Stamford, CT). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a Southwest contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Pomperaug will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
