Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) fans went home pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the host Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), 61-35 in a non-league challenge.

The Redskins (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Fighting Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record.

In their next game, the Huskies encounter the Grace Christian (Huntington, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 56-38 non-league loss to Green (Franklin Furnace, OH).
