January 4, 2023: Aliquippa, PA 15001 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), by a count of 81-49.
The Flames (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Shenango (New Castle, PA). The Wildcats go into the WPIAL 2A 1 outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Shenango smashed Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA), 63-29, in a non-league outing.
The Vikings now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Beaver for a WPIAL 4A 2 outing on Tuesday, January 24.
