The Northgate Flames basketball team scored 85 points and held the visiting Freedom Area Bulldogs to 37 in the Flames non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Flames now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sewickley Academy for a WPIAL 2A 1 contest on Tuesday, January 3.

The Bulldogs (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Ellwood City, PA). The Wolverine enter the WPIAL 3A 1 contest with a 7-2 record.
