Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northgate crushes Rochester
December 30, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15202 Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA), 86-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Northgate upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Flames travel to Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA) to clash with the in a WPIAL 2A 1 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Sewickley Academy lost 59-30 in their recent non-league bout against Carlynton (Carnegie, PA)
Next up, the Rams clash with the Cornell Raiders (Coraopolis, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Rochester will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 78-15 non-league loss to Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA).
