The Negaunee Miners basketball squad scored 57 points and limited the host Houghton Gremlins to 51 in the Miners non-league win on Thursday.

The Miners (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Calumet (Calumet, MI). The Copper Kings go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Calumet got by Baraga (Baraga, MI), 62-35, in a non-league test.

The Gremlins now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Gwinn for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9.
