Tennessee High School Basketball - University nips North Greene
January 4, 2024: Greeneville, TN 37745 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the University Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) and the host North Greene Huskies (Greeneville, TN), saw University's basketball squad hold off North Greene by a count of 77-75.
With the victory, University upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN) to play the Black Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Chuckey-Doak won 64-55 in their recent non-league challenge against North Greene (Greeneville, TN)
Next up, the Huskies play the West Greene Buffaloes (Mosheim, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. North Greene will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 69-63 non-league loss to Gibbs (Corryton, TN).
