Tennessee High School Basketball - North Greene succumbs to University
January 25, 2024: Johnson City, TN 37614 The University Buccaneers topped the visiting North Greene Huskies basketball team by a final score of 50-38 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Hampton Bulldogs (Hampton, TN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 27. University will attempt to move on its 13-6 season record.
With the defeat, North Greene moves to 7-13 on the year. The Huskies host Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN) to face the Highlanders in a 1A District 1 game on Friday, February 2. The Highlanders enter the game with a record of 0-15. Cloudland lost 46-44 in their recent league game against Unaka (Elizabethton, TN)
