Game Story

California High School Basketball - Legacy tops Banning

January 4, 2024: Wilmington, CA 90744

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA) and the host Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA), saw Legacy's basketball squad knock off Banning by a tally of 39-29.

With the victory, Legacy improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Bell (Bell, CA) to play the Eagles in a Eastern challenge on Monday, January 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Bell lost 40-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Maywood CES (Maywood, CA)

Next up, the Pilots play the Carson Colts (Carson, CA) in a Marine test, on Wednesday, January 10. Banning will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Colts go into the test with a 9-8 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Savanna (Anaheim, CA).
