Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Franklin Monroe Jets (Pitsburg, OH), 48-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dixie upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Tri-Village (New Madison, OH) to play the Patriots in a Western Ohio bout on Thursday, January 11. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 10-1.

Next up, the Jets play the Bradford Railroaders (Bradford, OH) in a Western Ohio bout, on Saturday, January 6. Franklin Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
