In Saturday's league contest, the host Bishop O'Connell Knights basketball team scored a big 99-30 triumph over the Potomac School Panthers.

The Knights (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions go into the DCSAA AA contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Carroll smashed West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC), 69-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Potomac School will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 65-40 non-league loss to St. John's (Washington, DC).
