In Monday's league test, the Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA), by a score of 54-33.

Next, the Quakers encounter the Owyhee Storm (Meridian, ID) in a non-league test, on Sunday, January 19. Sidwell Friends will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Storm come into the test with a 10-3 record after their 48-31 league win over Timberline (Boise, ID).

The Panthers (6-7) will now prepare for their test against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Lions come into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, St. Andrew's Episcopal bounced Saint James (Hagerstown, MD), 69-44, in a league test.
