Washington, DC High School Basketball - Potomac School crushes Georgetown Day

February 13, 2025: Washington, DC 20007

The Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) basketball crushed the host Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC), 74-31 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 11-12 record. They play next when they host Maret for a DCSAA AA bout on Monday, February 17. Potomac School will play a Frogs team coming off a 71-62 league loss to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Frogs record now stands at 11-13.

With the loss, Georgetown Day falls to 4-17 on the campaign. The Mighty hoppers travel to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC) to play the Quakers in a DCSAA AA bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 19-5. Sidwell Friends won 54-50 in their recent league bout against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA)
