Virginia High School Basketball - Sidwell Friends knocks off Potomac School

February 7, 2025: McLean, VA 22101

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Sidwell Friends Quakers basketball team scored a good 50-40 win over the Potomac School Panthers.

The Quakers (17-5) will now prepare for their contest against Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Mighty Hoppers come into the DCSAA AA contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Georgetown Day was topped by Paul Public Charter International (Washington, DC), 79-71, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the New Hope Academy National Tigers (Landover Hills, MD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Potomac School will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 14-19 record after their 82-45 league loss to Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD).
