January 5, 2024: Silver Spring, MD 20901 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) and the host Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD), saw Northwood's basketball squad hold off Blair by a tally of 59-53.
With the victory, Northwood improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 8. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Walter Johnson lost 85-76 in their recent league challenge against Whitman (Bethesda, MD)
Next up, the Blazers confront the Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Blair will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 47-45 league loss to Einstein (Kensington, MD).
