North Carolina High School Basketball - Concord crushes South Rowan
January 5, 2024: Concord, NC 28025 Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 85-39 in a league bout.
With the win, Concord upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Spiders travel to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to play the Vikings in a 3A South Piedmont bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 13-0. Central Cabarrus won 85-47 in their recent league bout against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC)
Next up, the Raiders play the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont bout, on Tuesday, January 9. South Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 79-66 league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC).
