The Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA), 51-40 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Bombers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Palisades (Kintnersville, PA). The Pirates go into the Colonial - East test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Palisades went down by Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA), 59-44, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Northern Lehigh for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Wilson Area will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 80-57 non-league loss to Bangor (Bangor, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
