The Cheraw Braves crushed the host Central Eagles basketball squad by a margin of 61-40 in Friday's league test.

The Braves (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Anson walloped Central Academy (Monroe, NC), 54-21, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Buford for a AA Region 5 test on Monday, January 8. Central will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 79-24 league loss to Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-7.
