The Cheraw Braves basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Buford Yellowjackets to 34 in the Braves league victory on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlantic Collegiate Academy for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 17. Cheraw will battle a Armada team coming off a 59-46 non-league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Armada record now stands at 3-5.

The Yellowjackets (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Parkwood was defeated by Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 69-21, in a non-league contest.
