Lewiston Tigers (Lewiston, NE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cedar Bluffs Wildcats (Cedar Bluffs, NE), 63-15 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lewiston upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Omaha Christian Academy lost 42-35 in their recent non-league bout against Heartland Christian (Council Bluffs, IA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Brownell Talbot Raiders (Omaha, NE) in a D1 District 2 battle, on Saturday, January 7. Cedar Bluffs will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 3-7 record after their 55-37 non-league loss to Yutan (Yutan, NE).
