Connecticut High School Basketball - Darien holds off Norwalk
January 6, 2023: Darien, CT 06820 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) and the visiting Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT), saw Darien's basketball squad hold off Norwalk by a tally of 53-48.
With the victory, Darien improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Blue Wave travel to Westhill (Stamford, CT) to confront the Vikings in a Fairfield County challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Westhill lost 64-41 in their recent league challenge against Trumbull (Trumbull, CT)
Next up, the Bears confront the Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Norwalk will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 73-65 league loss to Warde (Fairfield, CT).
